Privacy Policy

Version of 26 October 2026
Who processes the data
The personal data operator is the individual entrepreneur Niyazov Bolatbek Uzakbayevich (IIN 860307300572), Republic of Kazakhstan, referred to below as “FOC World” or “we”.
Contact for data questions: zhan@focworld.com, WhatsApp +7 702 609 9484.
What data we collect
- Account: first and last name, username, email address, password (stored only as a hash; we never know the password itself), country, interface language and a profile photo if you upload one.
- Sign in with Google: name, email address, profile photo and Google account ID. We do not request or receive any other data from your Google account (contacts, files, emails).
- Learning and competitions: training and diagnostic results, level, experience points, streaks, homework, results of olympiads, Online FOC and battles, diplomas and certificates.
- Student data entered by a learning centre, teacher or parent: name, date of birth, class, learning centre and the parent's WhatsApp number.
- Online FOC: the participant's camera and screen are recorded while they complete the tasks. Recording starts only after permission is given in the browser and is used to check that the result is fair.
- Applications and payment: learning centres' applications for olympiads and Online FOC, payment amount and status. We do not receive bank card details: payment goes through Kaspi.
- Requests: name and phone number from trial access and feedback forms, correspondence with support.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, sign-in time. We use them to protect accounts and to limit simultaneous sign-ins from several devices.
How we use it
- To let you sign in and use the trainer, the portal and olympiads.
- To run olympiads and Online FOC, calculate results, issue diplomas and keep the rankings.
- So that a learning centre and a teacher can see their students' progress, and a parent can see their child's.
- To accept payments and confirm applications.
- To notify you about applications, results and account changes by email, browser notification or message.
- To protect accounts and review disputes.
We do not sell data, show ads or use data for advertising. Our websites have no advertising or analytics trackers.
Google account data
If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address, profile photo and account ID. We use them to create your FOC World account and to recognise you when you sign in again.
We do not share this data with third parties other than the providers that store the service's data (see “Who we share data with”), and we do not use it for advertising. FOC World's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can unlink Google by deleting your FOC World account. You can also revoke access in your Google Account settings.
What others can see
- Results of olympiads and Online FOC are published on the website and on the federation's social media: name, learning centre, class, place and medal.
- The season ranking shows the name, learning centre and points.
- A diploma can be verified by its QR code, which opens a page with the participant's name, the competition and the award.
- A learning centre and a teacher see their students' results. Other users do not see your email address or phone number.
- In battles your opponent sees your username and rating.
Who we share data with
We share data only with providers the service cannot work without, and only as much as they need:
- DigitalOcean — servers and database;
- Vercel — website hosting;
- Cloudflare — file storage: profile photos, centre logos, Online FOC recordings, backups;
- Google — sign in with Google;
- Kaspi — payment processing;
- Resend — sending emails;
- Telegram — internal notifications to the FOC team about applications and payments;
- browser push notification services (Google, Apple, Mozilla) — if you turn notifications on.
Some providers keep their servers outside the Republic of Kazakhstan. By using the service you agree to this cross-border transfer of data. We also disclose data to public authorities when the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
- Account data is kept while the account exists.
- You can delete your account in the trainer: Settings → Delete Account. If the account manages a learning centre's team and cannot be deleted in the app, write to us and we will delete it manually.
- Results published in olympiad results and diplomas already issued remain in the competition records as official results. On request we will consider removing a name from published results.
- Online FOC recordings are kept to check results and review disputes. A recording can be deleted on request.
- Database backups are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically.
Children
Children use the trainer and olympiads. A child's account and student card are created by a parent, teacher or learning centre. By creating them, they confirm that the child's legal representative consents to the processing of the child's data.
A parent can find out what data we hold about their child, correct it or delete it: write to zhan@focworld.com.
Data protection
Data is sent over a secure connection (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as hashes. Only staff who need the data for their work have access to it.
Your rights
You can find out what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it or withdraw your consent to processing. Write to zhan@focworld.com and we will fulfil the request within the time limits set by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Changes to this policy
A new version is published on this page with its date. If the changes are significant, we will let you know in the app.
